Addition of pronouns in both Anonymous/Classic and Custom mode:
In anonymous, the characters would have their pronouns show up under their names. This would allow for people to stop misgendering characters and would be a great opportunity to add neopronouns and pronouns that don’t necessarily match genders.
In Custom, you would be able to add your pronouns under your name in the avatar editor. This would allow people to not get misgendered strictly based on their avatar.

To add, I think pronouns should be included as information in my character library/archive idea.

i feel like this would clog up screen (ofc most people wont have problem with it but i think itd look cleaner) and some sort of character info screen in lobbywould be better but eh planned already

I think gameplay mechanics and balancing should be prioritised over this, but I guess it would be fine to have.

i actually dislike this

this is now partially completed (albeit differently from the original post): male and female anonymous characters now use he and she respectively in dialogue and spy/scout clues. nonbinary anonymous characters will continue to use they/them
we have plans to expand this to custom mode in the near future, but we may not be able to fully support custom pronouns in dialogue (so if you set custom pronouns in your character profile, we may still need to continue to use they/them in dialogue due to translation, filtering, and other technical limitations). for now all custom mode characters still use they/them in dialogue
