The gambler is a member of the good team
the gambler has one ability they can use at night
the gambler replaces a survivor
Ability (dice roll):
The gambler can use this ability every odd night
The gambler rolls a twenty sided dice.
Depending on that dice’s outcome, their voting power gets changed
Dice roll outcome changes:
1: -5 votes
2-3: -4 votes
4-5: -3 votes
6-7: -2 votes
8-9: -1 votes
10-11: 0 votes
12-13: 1 vote
14-15: 2 votes
16-17: 3 votes
18-19: 4 votes
20: 5 votes
The gambler can take away or give more votes to one person depending on his voting power
If the gambler chooses not to roll the dice, their voting power is 1
If the gambler chooses not to vote someone, the random person that the gamblers vote went to will get only one vote from the gambler
The gambler will also have some consequences if they misuse their changed role power.
If they misuse their ability, the 2 smallest and two biggest dice outcomes will be silently removed. So for example, if the gambler misused his vote, the dice will from now on roll a number from 3-18. This can stack, meaning that the gambler can end up with just the outcomes 9, 10 and 11.
Ways the gambler can misuse their ability:
- Preventing evil people from being voted out using your negative vote power
- Being the reason a good player got voted out
- Being the reason a clown got voted out
Strategy:
The gambler is a versatile high risk high reward role, which can have a massive impact on the round, by either helping their team by lessening the votes against their team or help get evil team members out. If their unsure, they can choose not to roll the dice or not vote anyone. They can also use the clues of other dead or alive people, to find out who to vote with their negative or greater voting power, to win with their team
BTW the gambler will also have a text in the corner of the screen saying the voting power
Reason: I tried creating an RNG role that can help with (ALMOST) all outcomes
😭
flicker has a really bad problem with good team players:
– randomly voting people
– voting good players because of smth unrelated to the game
– just throwing the game in general
this role makes it easier for someone to derail the game
