Cooler Ability/Vote Use#3374

Instead of clicking a button in the bottom corner, make it so that at night, if you have an ability, in order to use it, you hover over somebody with your mouse and click them. Itll be similar to the note passing system, the person youll be hovering over will be given a glowing outline, depending on the role you have

Murderer - Red
Ambusher - Orange
Assassin/Dark Psychic - Hot Pink
Witch/Scout - Purple
Clown - Light Yellow
Psychic/Spy - Yellow
Medic - Cyan
Muffin Man - Brown
Voting/Note Passing - White

This wont affect The Savior, there will be a button in the Graveyard tab like normal

When you click on somebody, the outline will turn green, displaying that youve chosen that player, can be changed by clicking on another player, when this is done the previous chosen players green outline will disappear and itll be given to the current player you chose,

For The Medics self heal, you can hover over and click on your own avatar.

This kind encourages running and hiding since you can only hit people in your eyeline with your ability, which is really unfun for evils.

I mean hiders normally always get voted out for hiding in servers ive been in, but other than that everybody gatheres in a circle

I think this is unnecessary. Waste of time to code. Waste of time for the players too. Notes are also already finicky when it comes to using them on mobile. I’d rather not miss click and kill my Assassin.

this was specifically directed towards pc, but on mobile maybe it can be made so you have to double click to select, the first click will give them the colour outline then the 2nd click will select them and turn the outline green, but you should be fine as long as you dont click anything after selecting somebody

the double click option can work on pc aswell, if you click someone once and take the mouse off of them, the colored outline stays but in order to properly select them you click until the outline is green

either that, or add a confirm popup at the bottom, “Are you sure you want to kill [PLAYER NAME]?” or something similar like that
