Include role upgrades/tiers
This is not one of those OP role variants but it can feel the same.
Basically there’s another crate on the shop containing role copies. If a player collected 5 similar role copy on the same tier, a player can upgrade the role they have.
Example:
Detective role exp limit reached. To upgrade:
Buy Good role copies T0-T1 crates(includes): Survivor, detective, medic, savior, etc.
A player successfully collected 5 detective copy.
Combine the pieces and your Max level detective to ascend.
Tier 2 skills (Booster skills): Luck(Increase coin received every round), adept(extra role exp)
Detective Tier 2 now have “luck”
Repeat this process until the next tier
Tier 3 skills: (role specific) & (general skill)
role specific skills are rarer because it provides useful buffs in game
[Role specific skills for detective:
Credibility: Elimates the “at least one of these player is evil/good.” Instead, switch it to “One of these player is evil/good.”
FBI: During the 2nd night, u can select one of the player that appeared in your clues to check. You can now see the selected person’s note contents and who the receiver is unless the note dropped. (Yes, this can stack and will last for the rest of the game. U can drag the journal/notes on ur screen for those who doesn’t know.)
General skills for all roles:
sleight of hand: The cooldown of sending notes is cut in half. Your notes will no longer have a chance of dropping.
Chainbraker(clown can’t get this): You won’t get voted out. But you will lose the ability to vote for the rest of the game once you did. (You can only avoid getting voted out once.)
General skills for good role:
Legacy: You may choose to reveal your role to everyone in the game once you die(a system reveal so it’s 100% truth unlike journaling “Player 1 was detective according to his written legacy).

You can stack up these skills as you get to tier 5. But that’s gonna be really expensive (Just imagine how many cards you will need to reach tier 4. The cost of ascending the role also compounds the higher the tier level of the role). This will bring reason for people to play the game over and over again. Reward the dedicated community gng </3.
if a player have 2 or more copies of a tier 3 role, they can swap out their current equipped in their inventory. Think of it like deck building. Where you can collect cards(let’s call “roles” as card) and swap out one another so u can unlock different play styles.
In the future where we will have a lot of roles, this will be useful so players can select which role they can play instead of relying on the game rng of “medic or savior” but, of course players are required to equip survivor, detective, murderer, clown, and at least one of the variation of “ or “
Example Deck:
Survivor, Detective, Medic, Psychic, Muffin man, clown, murderer, witch, assasin.
(What if nobody uses twin on ur game except me? Twin will be replaced by a 2nd “survivor” role so the odds remain the same)
What about survivors? Survivor card is tier 0. if you upgrade it, you will get a random tier 1 role. (Survivor is literally just a dud in the crates’ rng cuz u can)

The puppeteer: You can now kill a person even if u’re alive. Literally just that. No extra kills, win condition is still the same.
