Relay#3291

Cannot be in same game as scout or witch.

You have a button near the notes button that says “Relay message.” These function similarly to notes, but any relayed messages are gaurenteed to go to the murderer. However, you only get 5 relays, and the identity of the murderer is hidden. The murderer also cannot see who sent the message (The note will say it’s from “The Relay”).

To prevent players from putting their own identities in the relay, the relays use a quick chat system. The quick chat options would include:

-Do/Don’t kill
-Every player’s username (except the relay’s)
-Every role
-The word “is” (so you can say things like, “Bob is medic”)
-The words “Good” and “Evil”
-The word “lying”

The notes would have a username limit of one, so you couldn’t spam every username to deduce your name to the murderer.

If the murderer dies, the notes will be sent to their “second-in-command” (assassin or dark psychic). If they die, the notes become useless (The Relay won’t be notified of the murderer’s death through the notes).

The relays can be used anytime, but have a cooldown of 30 seconds.

(Just to be clear, the Relay isn’t given any information as to who’s evil or good. They have to figure that out themselves.)

Having the ability to send notes to a specific role rather than a player(especially as Evil) is cool but Relay doesn’t really get any extra info that they can relay in the notes. I assume the intention is to play like Scout where you tell Murderer who to kill, but the difference is at least Scout has a way of finding power roles, Relay doesn’t. If Relay knows info, it’s probably the case the Murderer already knows it as well. So it would be pretty weak.
