Mutual: Detective and or Coroner/Judge
Use: Informational
Passive: When Babbler kills, it will get a fake number associated with a player who is eligible to kill.
Ability: Daily ability, make a statement using Babbler’s Quick Chat once a day. If that statement is true, pick a number associated with an eligible player and kill them. (if you do not kill an eligible player will randomly die)
I don’t really understand how the passive is related to the active ability? I also don’t really get how the ability works in general, could you give an example?
@sharkthatrunsonwater
The point of the Passive is to help with the ability. Its more in line with an Attribute and less a Passive.
Babbler will have their own quick chat that ANYONE can use. It would have a variety of statements.
Ex. Babbler: “Murderer has back hair”
System detects what was said was true, then a prompt would be given Forcefully asking the player to pick a number associated with a player eligible to be killed, ie someone not protected in any way.
So anyone can use both the chat and the kill, or everyone can use the chat but only Babbler makes the kill? It sounds like you’re implying the first, which I guess just feels like a passive gameplay feature that the role provides rather than a role. I also don’t really understand the point of getting a fake number.
Unrelated but this reminds me of Taboo.

Only Babbler can make the kill.
Anyone can use the Chat to HIDE the Babbler, I would actually recommend this.
The point of the fake number is because the kill isnt supposed to be smth you chose, However that kill must be someone eligible. Basically gives information on the ammount of players possibly protected in some way.
Ie the kill is supposed to be random, but I cant outright make it random. Even though it still kinda is.
