Short or Acceptable Names.#1723

I have a suggestion for a new rule in Flicker;
Use short or acceptable names for Roblox terms.
The reason why I say this is because it has happened to me in several rounds to see names like “wjdkdhkd” (it’s short but has been censored by Roblox) or “example20923837” (too many numbers which the filter thinks is bad).
So, when you or someone else gets a role where a person’s name appears in their journal, it is crossed out and you must shorten the text until the preview filter accepts it. If we ignore the fact that also doing that takes away the credibility of the evidence, for someone at a monitor it would not be a problem, you have the screen free and you just need to select the text. The problem occurs with mobile players, having limited screen space, the keyboard does not let you see the bottom of the journal and therefore you cannot change it. I have seen several times that people complain that they write clues or suspections of a player and their whole diary is censored even if they use correct vocabulary. That’s the fault of the Roblox filter, yeah, but at least not putting weird names might work to solve the problem.

Like you said, Roblox is at fault with this problem. I don’t think that Flicker can fix it if it’s not their issue

However, the problem with mobile players having small space might be solved somehow, idk about it

the suggestion was basically a new rule about appropriate names. It could help a bit so Roblox wouldn’t censor them
